Projects Coordinator - MEP

Responsibilities:

  • Make sure the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) work matches perfectly with the building's infrastructure and residential areas.
  • Manage all MEP technical tasks from the start of construction until the project is finished.
  • Supervise the installation of all MEP systems (like air conditioning, wiring, and piping) through every stage, including the first and second fix.
  • Collect all important technical documents and make sure they are shared with the right teams.
  • Work with all partners to fix engineering mistakes or contract errors and report on the progress.
  • Watch the engineering and buying schedules to make sure different contractors meet their deadlines.
  • Spot and report on any parts of the engineering or purchasing process that are not following the approved plan.
  • Follow up on the consultant's approvals and check the site to report any work that is not done correctly.
  • Predict and handle potential delays or extra costs caused by changes in the project's work plan.
  • Keep a record of all site and off-site equipment tests and report any results that don't meet the standards.
  • Help the cost-control and contract teams with any technical information they need for their work.
  • Help with the final testing of all systems. Manage the process of handing the project over to the owner and make sure all final repairs (the "punch list") are finished.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • 10–15 years of relevant experience in project management within real estate or construction companies.
  • Previous work managing MEP tasks for large-scale hospitality projects or developments.
  • Strong knowledge of MEP construction stages, equipment testing, and final system checks.
  • Ability to spot cost or time risks before they become a problem.
  • Ability to write clear reports on site progress and talk effectively with different teams.
  • Great at keeping track of documents, test results, and project deadlines.
