Commercial Analyst - Global Procurement

• Providing spend analysis, opportunity analysis, supplier / market analysis, preparation of business cases and RFx analysis for the 3PM Procurement team and wider internal 3PM stakeholders.
• Researching and analyze procurement category related data from various sources (ERP, Supplier Intelligence, Market Intelligence, Indexes/Feedstocks, etc) to identify trends, performance, risks, opportunities, to aid with data-driven decision making.
• Leveraging data-driven insights to build should cost modelling, unlock structural saving opportunities, enhance decision making, maximize saving delivery. Identifying commercial opportunities / improvements within our existing contractual partnerships.
• Supporting weekly/monthly Category reporting across its defined KPIs.
• Supporting monthly Procurement Ops reviews, and exec presentations as needed. Supporting category teams with complex commercial relationships that cover VMI (vendor managed inventory), consigned materials, formula-based pricing, etc.
• Ad-hoc support for other procurement workstreams such as supplier reviews, tendering, supplier data segmentation, etc.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, or a related field, (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
• Proficient experience in a similar analytical role supporting Procurement/Finance/Commercial/Supply Chain teams in a private, public, government or military environment

• Strong financial acumen, mathematical and statistical knowledge with an ability to interpret complex data.
• Strong IT skills, including Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills, SAP, PowerBi, PowerPoint etc.
• Knowledge and experience leveraging AI tools to support data analytics.
• Initiative, self-starter with a positive & pro-active approach
• Strong communication skills including ability to create clear data visualizations
