Elevate is recruiting a Commercial Attorney for a full-time position based in our Centre of Excellence in Cracow, Poland. This role involves working closely with in-house legal departments of our Customers and their internal business customers.

This position gives the opportunity to work in a dynamic and highly professional environment, working directly with a diverse and wide range of internal and external stakeholders to deliver innovative, holistic and commercial solutions.

Commercial Attorney provides deal support and participates in projects to improve our customers' contractual infrastructures, workflow, and processes. This role involves working independently on assigned matters but also working collaboratively with other members of the Elevate team, delivering high quality services in a responsive manner.

The responsibilities of the Commercial Attorney are the following:

  • Provide support to the senior team members in the day-to-day running of a wide range of projects and matters.
  • Be trusted to execute delegated elements of matters.
  • Understand and contribute to the delivery of exceptional customer service.
  • Build positive relationships with colleagues and a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Help to ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, internal policies, and customer instructions.
  • Deliver contract services to Elevate customers.
  • Review, negotiate and manage vendor and merchant contracts on a global basis.
  • Intake, triage, assign, prepare, review, collect signatures and data and store corporate contracts.
  • Work closely with the Customer legal team, procurement and other business units to complete requests independently and within relevant SLAs.
  • Set up, monitor, and update project plans.
  • Undertake research projects.
  • Assist with day-to-day file management, client reporting and billing.
  • Handling mid to high complexity work, using independent judgement.
  • Provide support and technical guidance to Junior Attorneys.

Experience:

  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in transactional contracts support, reviewing and interpreting complex commercial contracts including procurement, sales agreements, NDAs, DPAs, software license agreements, SaaS agreements, other commercial agreements and real estate agreements.
  • Experience conducting simple to complex legal research and memorandum drafting.
  • Excellent track record in previous client support/customer service engagements.

Qualifications:

  • Law Degree.
  • Professional proficiency in English.
