Commercial Attorney (Retail)

The Position
Our client is a retail-focused operating company that revitalizes established consumer brands. The legal team supports a growing portfolio of retail businesses and is seeking part-time commercial overflow support during a period of growing activity.

The attorney will handle a mix of commercial contracting work, including sale of goods agreements, retail leases, and routine vendor contracts. Many agreements are SaaS-related and tied to inventory management, ecommerce, and website operations. Most contracts will be on third-party paper. After initial onboarding and feedback, the attorney is expected to work independently and integrate seamlessly into a lean in-house team.

This project starts mid March, is expected to last 4 to 5 months with potential to extend, is fully remote, and requires 10 hours per week with flexibility to scale up to 15 hours during busy periods.

The hourly rate for this assignment is expected to be between $75 and $85. This range is an estimate; an employee’s compensation will be based on the employee’s qualifications, skillset, and relevant experience, specific client needs, project requirements, and other considerations permitted by law.
