To maintain competitive advantage as we grow, we are currently recruiting commercial business development professionals across multiple levels and functions. Positions will cover a range of commercial responsibilities and, depending on seniority and remit, may be field/territory based, or office based.


The Role


You will join a high-energy commercial organization focused on acquiring, onboarding and growing merchants across card-present and card-not-present channels. We’re hiring people who can prospect, win and expand relationships across SME, mid-market and enterprise customers. Roles will vary in scope and seniority and sit across direct sales, account growth and channel/partnership functions.


Key Responsibilities (will vary by role & level)


  • Own the sales lifecycle: prospect, qualify, negotiate and close new merchant opportunities.
  • Manage and grow strategic relationships to increase transaction volume and adoption of value-add products.
  • Collaborate with product, operations and marketing to deliver tailored commercial solutions and excellent merchant experience.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market plans for assigned segments or territories.
  • Build and manage partner relationships (ISVs, resellers, PSPs) to scale distribution.
  • Produce commercial proposals, commercial impact analysis and present to stakeholders.
  • Meet quarterly and annual revenue and KPI targets.


Requirements


  • Payments industry experience is essential. Demonstrable background in payments, POS acquiring, merchant services, PSPs or payments-adjacent fintech is required.
  • Proven success selling to SMEs, mid-market and/or enterprise customers — ability to adapt approach by segment.
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills and experience managing complex deals.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships across technical, finance and executive stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, product-led environment; pragmatic, delivery-focused.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are advantageous depending on market.
