In this role, you’ll be responsible for upholding the cleanliness and appearance of our properties, ensuring a comfortable and orderly environment for our tenants, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do
  • Daily Housekeeping Tasks: Be the master of keeping our commercial properties in tip-top shape by performing daily housekeeping tasks including mopping, vacuuming, dusting/polishing furniture, and general cleaning of restrooms, hallways, lobbies, stairways, and other work areas.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor janitorial supply inventory levels to ensure adequate stock and keep storage areas neat and organized.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure cleaning equipment and materials are properly maintained and stored in a safe and sanitary condition.
  • Compliance Adherence: Adhere to building, safety, and health codes to maintain compliance.
  • Relationship Building: Foster positive relations and communication with tenants, customers, visitors, and staff members.
  • Unit Turnovers: Occasionally assist with housekeeping duties during apartment turnovers to prepare for new residents.
  • Collaborative Task Completion: Use teamwork skills to complete tasks efficiently, maintaining accurate records of time spent and tasks completed.
  • Property Improvement: Maintains constant awareness while on owned and managed properties to make immediate improvements as required. Makes recommendations to improve the overall appearance, efficiency & effectiveness at the properties to help achieve company and community goals.
You Have
  • Relevant Experience: 2+ years’ experience as a cleaner or housekeeper.
  • Self-Motivation: Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
  • Time Management: Prioritization and time management skills.
  • Equipment Proficiency: Experience operating cleaning equipment.
  • Reliable Transportation: A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to drive between properties.
You Should Be Able To
  • Lift & Carry: Frequently lift, move, or carry items weighing 50+ pounds.
  • Maneuver Properties: Move about properties often including ascending/descending of stairs and ladders.
  • Be Flexible & Mobile: Bend, squat, kneel, twist, and walk for periods of time while inspecting/addressing properties or equipment.
  • Operate Devices: Frequently operate electronic devices to record time and work order status.
  • Exchange Information: Effectively communicate with tenants, vendors, and colleagues to exchange accurate information.
