Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Concrete Foreman to lead and oversee concrete construction projects within the commercial sector. Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise concrete crews on commercial construction sites, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.
• Coordinate construction schedules, manage daily operations, and ensure timely delivery of concrete work aligned with project milestones.
• Review blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to interpret specifications accurately and communicate requirements effectively to teams.
• Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, and Bluebeam for project planning, scheduling, and documentation.
• Oversee quality control measures, conduct inspections, and ensure adherence to OSHA standards and federal construction safety regulations.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and crew members while maintaining clear managerial communication and fostering teamwork.
• Monitor project budgets, track costs related to labor and materials, and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising safety or quality.
• Ensure compliance with all construction regulations and safety protocols by conducting regular safety meetings and site inspections.
• Review construction drawings for accuracy; supervise the interpretation of technical drawings; oversee construction schedule coordination; manage construction safety management practices; supervise crew management activities; oversee construction site experience; ensure proper use of tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing when applicable.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Construction Foreman or Supervisor with a focus on commercial concrete projects.
• Strong knowledge of heavy civil construction management software including ProCore, Primavera P6 (Primavera), Bluebeam, Primavera P6 (Primavera), HeavyBid, and other relevant tools.
• Extensive understanding of blueprint reading, technical drawing review, project scheduling, and construction management principles.
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high safety standards.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and federal construction safety standards essential for safe site operations.
• Excellent communication skills for managing subcontractors, suppliers, crews, and project stakeholders.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately and coordinate complex construction schedules seamlessly.
• Knowledge of budgeting practices related to labor costs, materials procurement, and overall project financials.
• Construction site experience with a focus on quality control and safety compliance is required.
• Relevant certifications such as OSHA 30-Hour or 500-Hour training preferred; experience with Ohmmeters or electrical testing devices is a plus.
