Commercial Construction Superintendent

Established Denver-based commercial general contractor with 30 years of experience has an immediate opening for qualified Superintendents with 5+ years of experience in supervising large and medium-scale commercial construction projects for the private and federal sectors. This position will be responsible for direct supervision of Commercial Office Tenant Finish, Aquatic Facilities, Restaurant, Recreation, Grocery, Hospitality, Retail, Multi-Family, Historic Renovation, Data Center, and Industrial projects ranging from $1,000,000 to $50,000,000. Projects are located in Denver Front Range and Colorado Springs, CO.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise subcontractors to ensure timely and quality completion of contracted work.
• Cultivate working relationships with Project Managers, Project Laborers, and Trade Contractors.
• Serve as a liaison between the Owner, Architect, Engineer, Contractor, and Subcontractors.
• Assist the Project Manager in preparing construction schedules.
• Manage all on-site personnel, materials, equipment needs, and subcontractor performance.
• Ensure all projects comply with Owner specifications and requirements.
• Track RFIs, changes, safety, and other project-related documentation.
• Implement and enforce all project safety procedures.
• Prepare and submit detailed daily reports.
• Hold weekly job progress meetings with subcontractors to coordinate project progress.
• Manage project schedule to ensure all deadlines are achieved.
• Maintain accurate As-Built drawings.
• Implement the Quality Control Program.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of related supervisory experience in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in Procore software.
• Experience supervising commercial projects ranging from $1,000,000 to $20,000,000.
• Basic survey and layout skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• OSHA 30-Hour Certification.
• High School Diploma.

Salary & Benefits:

Salary is commensurate with experience. Minimal travel required. Full benefits include group health and dental, 401K, vacation, and holidays. Additional benefits include a work truck, cell phone allowance, and performance bonus plan.

• Experience with Commercial Office Tenant Finish, Restaurant, Recreation, Hospitality, Retail, Multi-Family, Historic Renovation, Data Center, and Industrial projects.
• Experience managing projects in the Denver Front Range and Colorado Springs areas.
• Advanced knowledge in safety regulations and quality control standards.
