Job Description

We are seeking a visionary and strategic Commercial Director to join our dynamic organization in AlUla, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our executive team, you will be responsible for driving our commercial strategy, maximizing revenue growth, and ensuring long-term business success in this rapidly developing region.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive commercial strategies aligned with organizational goals
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing commercial team to achieve targets and KPIs
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market share and penetrate new markets
  • Oversee contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and key account management
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform strategic decision-making
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of commercial initiatives
  • Manage budgets, forecast sales, and report on commercial performance to senior leadership
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and clients
  • Drive innovation in commercial practices to stay ahead of market changes and customer demands
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in commercial leadership roles, with a proven track record of driving business growth and profitability
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, financial management, and business development
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Excellent leadership and team management capabilities
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Proficiency in business software and analytics tools
  • Deep understanding of market trends and competitive landscape
  • Knowledge of Saudi Arabian business practices and regulations
  • International business experience, preferably in the Middle East
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in managing high-value contracts
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets
Additional Information
  • Experience is an asset
  • Prior experience working with Opera or a related system
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
  • Fluency in English, additional languages are a plus
