Job Summary:

Izil Beauty is a high-growth beauty brand that blends Moroccan beauty rituals with high-performance science. As part of an ambitious global expansion strategy, we are seeking a Commercial Director with a deep focus on business development to spearhead our growth into prestige retail doors in the Middle East, USA, and UK, while also building a robust regional and international distribution network for e-tailers.

In addition, the Commercial Director will be responsible for the strategic development and operational rollout of izil's own flagship brick-and-mortar stores and spas, creating elevated brand experiences in key markets. This senior leadership role combines vision and execution — driving revenue growth, securing new market opportunities, and scaling the brand’s presence globally.

Key Responsibilities:

A- Global Business Development & Strategic Growth:

· Identify, develop, and open new prestige retail doors across key global markets (UAE, KSA, USA, UK), aligned with izil’s brand positioning.

· Build and manage international distribution partnerships with leading e-tailers, selective beauty retailers, and curated concept stores.

· Forge and maintain strong relationships with buyers, distributors, and regional commercial agents to secure long-term growth.

· Lead market entry strategies including commercial frameworks, regulatory support, and local partner development.

· Represent izil at major international trade fairs and retail forums to increase visibility and secure premium placements.

B- Flagship Store & Spa Expansion:

*Lead the planning, development, and execution of izil’s stores and spas in key high-traffic locations.

* Define the commercial strategy and customer journey across these physical environments to ensure brand consistency and strong performance.

* Oversee site selection, lease negotiations, design, buildout, staffing, and opening schedules in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

* Drive retail excellence through operations, merchandising, and service delivery standards.

C- Revenue Ownership & Commercial Strategy:

* Develop and implement a robust commercial strategy to deliver profitable revenue growth across all physical and partner-led channels.

*Own and track sales performance against revenue goals and margin objectives.

* Monitor channel and partner performance, optimizing pricing, assortment, and promotional levers to maximize value.

D - Team Leadership & Collaboration:

* Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing commercial team across retail development, distribution, and key account management, while taking a hands-on role in day-to-day operations.

* Collaborate closely with marketing, digital and Supply chain teams to deliver on commercial goals and ensure successful channel alignment and launch initiatives.

*Establish KPIs, dashboards, and performance tracking systems to measure and drive accountability across all channels.

E- Market Insights & Competitive Strategy

* Monitor and respond to market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to refine go-to-market plans

* Identify and capitalize on white-space opportunities to position Izil ahead of competitors.

* Provide regular reporting to the CEO and board on revenue growth, profitability, and key initiatives.

Qualifications:

* 10+ years in commercial leadership, preferably in beauty, retail, or FMCG sectors.

* Proven success driving profitable revenue growth, opening new sales channels in high-growth environments and successfully managing market expansions especially in the Middle East, USA, and UK.

* Expertise in managing multi-channel strategies, including physical retail, and partnerships with retailers and etailers.

* Experience in production environments, Retail and e-commerce logistics.

* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).

*Fluent in English & Arabic (French is a plus)

* Strong leadership, interpersonal, and team development abilities.

* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

* High integrity and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
