Commercial Director - Events

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Director, on behalf of one of our clients, to lead revenue growth and sales strategy for large-scale events and exhibitions. This senior-level role will be responsible for driving business development, managing key accounts, and identifying new revenue streams, while also leading and motivating the sales team


Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales and revenue strategies to achieve growth targets.
  • Manage the full sales pipeline, from lead generation to closing deals.
  • Oversee key accounts for exhibitors, sponsors, and partners.
  • Collaborate with operations and admin teams to maximize event performance.
  • Identify new market opportunities and maintain strong competitive positioning.
  • Optimize revenue channels, pricing strategies, and sales forecasting.

Requirements:-

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, with a proven track record in senior commercial roles within large B2B events
  • 10 years minimum in exhibitions
  • Ideally someone in a similar role who has worked across different sectors
  • Team management skills
  • Proven track record in increasing revenue
  • Experience working within existing events and new launches
