The Commercial Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods using a 3-tonne truck and Hiace van. The role involves completing multiple delivery trips daily, ensuring proper handling of materials, maintaining vehicle condition, and supporting efficient logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate 3-tonne trucks and Hiace vehicles safely and efficiently for delivery and pickup of goods.
• Complete multiple trips daily as per delivery schedules and operational requirements.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to customers, sites, or warehouses.
• Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling to avoid damage.
• Verify delivery documents such as invoices, delivery notes, and obtain customer acknowledgements.
• Collect cash or cheque payments (if required) and ensure immediate submission to accounts/office.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections (fuel, oil, tires, brakes, etc.) and report any issues promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicle.
• Follow all UAE traffic laws, company safety policies, and driving regulations.
• Coordinate with logistics/warehouse team for route planning and delivery prioritization.
• Report delays, accidents, or incidents immediately to supervisor.
• Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for trips and deliveries.

Key Requirements:

• Valid UAE Driving License (Category for 3-tonne truck and light vehicle – Hiace).
• Minimum 2–4 years of driving experience in UAE, preferably in a trading or distribution company.
• Good knowledge of UAE roads, routes, and locations.
• Ability to manage multiple trips and work under time pressure.
• Basic understanding of delivery documentation and cash handling.
• Physically fit to assist with loading/unloading.
• Basic communication skills in English (Hindi/Arabic is an advantage).
