Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and safety-conscious Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver to join our transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers to transport freight across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining excellent customer service. Your expertise in handling different types of trailers and loads will be vital in supporting our logistics operations. Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmissions, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other specialized freight vehicles
• Load and unload cargo efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary
• Deliver freight to designated locations across multiple routes, adhering to scheduled timelines and safety regulations
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) standards
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records in compliance with federal regulations
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly
• Follow all safety procedures related to driving, cargo securement, and vehicle operation

Skills

• Proven experience in truck driving with a valid CDL A license
• Strong knowledge of route driving, load securing, and freight handling procedures
• Experience operating various trailer types including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks
• Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles confidently and safely
• Skilled in load & unload operations using forklifts or other equipment when required
• Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance with DOT regulations
• Physical ability to handle cargo loading tasks and perform vehicle inspections efficiently
