Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Truck Driver, specializing in local and cover routes that keep our operations moving smoothly. This energetic role offers the opportunity to deliver freight efficiently across various routes, utilizing a range of vehicle types including tractor-trailers and straight trucks. Majority of role will be straight truck work but will be requited to drive a Tractor and Trailer in the City as needed and cover Salam, IL. swap and Atlanta runs when needed for vacation and sick time. All routes drivers are home daily. As a CDL driver, you'll be the backbone of our logistics network, ensuring timely load and unload operations while maintaining safety and compliance standards. Your expertise in driving manual transmission trucks and operating equipment like forklifts will be essential to success in this fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

• Safely operate a variety of commercial vehicles including tractor-trailers, and straight trucks, mostly straight trucks designated local routes and cover vacation routes being home daily.
• Load and unload freight efficiently using proper techniques and equipment such as forklifts when necessary.
• Ensure all deliveries are made on time while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and report any issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate ELOGS of driving hours , deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records in compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Securing freight on all loads box trucks and trailers to prevent damage during transit.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch teams at all times.

Experience

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience operating manual transmission trucks in a commercial setting.
• Prior delivery driver experience with freight handling.
• Familiarity with load & unload procedures using forklifts, pallet jacks. liftgates.
• Knowledge of route driving best practices and safety protocols for local deliveries and OTR.
• Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues.

Pay: $800.00 - $1,400.00 per week
