The Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Analyst to support the Commercial Finance Manager across all financial and commercial activities. In this role, you will assist with month-end reporting, budgeting and forecasting, as well as provide insight into brand performance and commercial initiatives. You will help drive process improvements, maintain accurate reporting, and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data-driven decisions. Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Commercial Finance Manager with month-end P&L preparation, variance analysis and management information packs.
• Support the forecasting and budgeting process by preparing inputs, ensuring data accuracy and helping align with business strategy.
• Conduct ad hoc financial and commercial analysis to provide insight on brand performance, new markets and initiatives.
• Help develop and document robust financial processes to improve consistency, efficiency and accuracy across brands and channels.
• Work with commercial, marketing and operations teams by preparing analysis that supports objectives and decision-making.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and analysis that enable the Commercial Finance Manager to hold teams accountable to budgets, targets and agreed actions.
• Maintain and improve reporting processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Contribute to ongoing finance projects and other duties as required.
• Prepare and deliver weekly trade reporting across brands and channels, highlighting key trends and risks

What you’ll bring

• Studying towards a professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or a relevant finance degree is desirable but not essential.
• Some experience in commercial finance, FP&A or management accounting, ideally within retail, fashion or e-commerce.
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets; familiarity with BI tools (for example, Tableau or Power BI) is an advantage.
• Willingness to learn and support process improvements within finance.
• Good communication skills and confidence in working with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage workload to deadlines with guidance.
• Proactive, adaptable and keen to grow in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Accuracy and speed: deliver timely, accurate financial data and insights in a fast-moving business.
• Strategic insight: translate financial data into actions and guidance for growth.
