Commercial Finance Executive

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven Commercial Finance Executive to support financial planning, analysis, and decision-making across our commercial operations. The role involves managing budgets, evaluating business performance, preparing financial reports, and providing insights that drive growth and profitability. The ideal candidate will act as a strong business partner to commercial, sales, and operations teams, ensuring alignment of financial goals with business strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support commercial decision-making through financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports with variance analysis.
• Assist in budgeting, planning, and monitoring financial performance against targets.
• Partner with sales, marketing, and operations teams to evaluate pricing strategies, cost efficiencies, and profitability.
• Conduct financial modeling and scenario analysis to support business initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor working capital, cash flow, receivables, and credit control.
• Identify risks and opportunities, providing recommendations to management.
• Support external audits and internal controls related to commercial finance activities.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in finance, preferably within a commercial or corporate environment.
• Good knowledge of financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and financial modeling (experience with ERP systems is a plus).
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and business partnering abilities.
• Attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in FMCG, trading, or manufacturing sector.
• Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control techniques.
• Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights

Location: PECHS, Block 6, Karachi.
