Commercial HVAC Technician

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Execute seasonal Preventative Maintenance visits across a commercial rooftop portfolio
• Change filters, clear drain lines, clean condensate pans, and add drain tablets
• Inspect and test safety controls, contactors, wiring, and thermostat operation
• Check refrigerant charge; record suction and discharge pressures
• Clean condenser and evaporator coils; lubricate motors, bearings, and moving parts
• Document all findings clearly and communicate any deferred repairs to the service team

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1–3 years HVAC field experience (commercial preferred)
• EPA 608 Certification required
• Comfortable working on rooftops and in mechanical rooms
• Basic electrical knowledge: able to check volts, amps, and connections
• Organized and detail-oriented with documentation
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• $22–$30/hr based on experience
