Job Summary

Givesurance is a high-growth, National Insurance Brokerage. We are seeking a high-caliber Sales Agent to join our team. This role is designed for a career-oriented professional looking for a 10+ year journey in a data-driven, lean-startup environment. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of the insurance sales and placement process, from lead generation and data collection to final binding and ongoing policy management.

Comprehensive Job Responsibilities

To ensure operational success and regulatory compliance, duties include but are not limited to:

  • Lead Management & Outbound Prospecting: Proactively work assigned leads, perform high-volume outbound cold/warm calling, and engage in multi-channel follow-up (email, text, LinkedIn) to build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Data Acquisition & Risk Analysis: Collect, verify, and analyze complex data from prospective insureds, including Schedule of Equipment, Driver Lists, IFTA reports, and Loss Runs.
  • Market Negotiations & Underwriting: Prepare and submit detailed, timely submission packets to carriers and MGAs. Negotiate terms, pricing, and Premium Finance Agreements (PFAs) to secure the best possible coverage for the client. Obtain quotes from multiple carriers.
  • Technical Quoting & Comparison: Utilize agency management systems and carrier portals to generate precise quotes. Create side-by-side proposal comparisons to consult clients on coverage gaps.
  • Policy Fulfillment & Binding: Process new insurance policies, facilitate the collection of down payments, and ensure all "Subject To" requirements are met for formal binding.
  • Consultative Upselling: Evaluate existing client portfolios to consult on and sell additional lines of coverage (e.g., Cargo, Workers' Comp, General Liability, Umbrella).
  • Administrative Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous digital records in Gmail, Calendar, and the Agency Management System; participate in claims meetings and provide detailed End-of-Day (EOD) productivity reports.

Job Requirements

  • Licensing: Active California Property & Casualty (P&C) Commercial License (Required).
  • Sales Aptitude: Proven ability to manage a sales funnel, overcome objections, and close complex commercial contracts.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expert-level use of Word, Excel, Gmail, and Google Calendar, Must have 3years Commercial Insurance Working Experience in TRUCKING Insurance.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative ability to interpret loss ratios and financial data.
  • Communication: Superior written and verbal command of the English language.
  • Professionalism: Superior attention to detail and the ability to work positively within a small, fast-paced team environment.
