Job Overview
ISCG is seeking a skilled Commercial Interior Designer to join our growing team. We are
looking for a proactive, organized and detail-oriented professional who demonstrates
design knowledge and enthusiasm for commercial products and trends.
Job Responsibilities
- Meet with clients and consultants to review project scope and programming needs.
- Travel to job site to conduct field measurements, inventory existing product, and document site conditions.
- Develop and present space plans and furniture typicals based on the client’s programming needs.
- Use design software (CET/Configura) to create drawings, renderings, and final design packages to be provided to the client.
- Select and present finish options for furniture specifications and building finishes.
- Use specification software (Spec) to create accurate documentation for order entry and installation.
- Regularly attend learning sessions to stay current on industry knowledge and maintain proficiency in design software.
Qualifications
- Proficient skills with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, 3D rendering tools (Sketchup or CET) and Spec.
- Strong communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in interior design
- Commercial design experience: Haworth furniture and CET experience preferred
- Knowledge of furniture specification
- Willingness to learn and collaborate with team members
