Leo Landscape LLC, located in Brighton, CO, is looking for a motivated and hard-working Commercial Landscaping Estimator to join our strong and dedicated team. What You’ll Be Doing

As a Commercial Landscaping Estimator, you’ll play a key role in our operations by ensuring projects are accurately estimated and set up for success. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Bid Management: Review RFQs/RFPs, plans/specs, addenda; build bid calendars and submit on time.

Quantity Takeoffs: Perform digital takeoffs for landscape, irrigation, concrete/flatwork, walls, and specialties.

Pricing & Proposals: Assemble labor, materials, equipment, rentals, and subcontractor quotes; apply production rates, margins, and risk contingencies; draft clear scope narratives and alternates/VE options.

Vendor/Sub Coordination: Solicit, level, and negotiate supplier and subcontractor quotes; maintain cost databases.

Clarifications/RFIs: Identify gaps/conflicts; issue RFIs and pre-bid questions; track addenda.

Handoff: Prepare turnover packages (estimate, takeoffs, buyout list, schedule assumptions) and participate in pre-con meetings.

Client Relations: Build relationships with GCs, developers, municipalities, and property managers; support interviews and post-bid negotiations.

Continuous Improvement: Track win/loss data and production feedback to refine assemblies and rates.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–5+ years estimating experience in commercial landscape/irrigation (or civil/site/concrete with strong landscape exposure).
  • Proficiency with digital takeoff & estimating tools (e.g., PlanSwift/Bluebeam/OST; Excel/Sheets).
  • Ability to read civil, landscape, and irrigation plans; familiarity with local codes and specs.
  • Organized, deadline-reliable, and comfortable juggling multiple bids.
  • Valid driver’s license; field/site visit readiness. OSHA-10 a plus.


Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $55,000–$58,000 base (DOE).
  • Commission: 2% of contract value upon sale (per company policy) with accelerators for margin targets.
  • On-Target Earnings (OTE): Base + commission; typical first-year OTE $90,000–$150,000
