Senior Civil Cost Estimator (Full-Time, Remote)

We are seeking a Senior Civil Cost Estimator with 15–20 years of experience in civil and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) estimation. In this senior role, you will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver accurate, detailed cost estimates for complex infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, advanced construction knowledge, and proven expertise in driving project success through comprehensive cost analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze project plans, specifications, and documents to assess scope, labor, and materials.
• Lead cost estimating for civil and MEP scopes (mechanical, electrical, plumbing).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate costs, including materials, labor, equipment,

and overhead.

• Use industry-standard software to prepare and update detailed estimates.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing.
• Evaluate subcontractor/supplier bids and make recommendations for contract awards.
• Present estimates and cost reports to management, project teams, and clients.
• Review and assess change orders, providing cost impact analysis and negotiating as needed.
• Identify risks and recommend contingency planning.
• Stay current on industry best practices, regulations, and market conditions.
  

Compensation for this role is in the range of $110,000–$130,000 annually, based on location and

experience.
