Responsibilities:
- Respond to client inquiries, process certificates, endorsements, ID cards, and binders within 24 hours, providing prompt and accurate service
Support producers by preparing applications, renewals, endorsements, and insurance proposals in accordance with underwriting guidelines and timelines
Monitor and manage monthly expiration lists, assist with new business submissions, and proactively follow up with carriers as needed
Maintain accurate records in the agency management system, update client files with all relevant documents, and manage suspense items promptly
Assist with claims processing in the absence of the claims department, ensuring timely and efficient resolution for clients
Follow agency procedures for billing, accounts receivable, and collections; escalate unpaid audits and issues to producers per policy
Stay informed on industry changes, coverage updates, and rating guidelines through continuous learning and professional development
Qualifications:
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic with high standards for quality and productivity, while effectively managing multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external clients, always acting in the best interest of the client and organization
Apply in-depth knowledge of property and casualty insurance, supported by 5+ years of relevant experience and a valid Resident Producer License
Exhibit strong project management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet client needs and deadlines
Communicate clearly and professionally, both in writing and verbally, while navigating client inquiries, business processes, and cross-functional collaboration
Maintain proficiency in relevant software and technology tools, including Microsoft Office and Adobe, while quickly learning new systems and insurance regulations
Meet physical and logistical requirements of the role, including occasional travel, use of office equipment, and possession of a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
Additional Information:
This job requires presence in the office on a hybrid schedule as agreed with the manager.
