Commercial Account Assistant

Position Type: Hourly / Full-Time in person - In office

Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm

Experience Required Minimum 2 years in Insurance Experience at an Insurance Agency.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Assitant to join our team.

This role involves detailed providing assistance to the Commercial Account Managers for all aspects of the sales and service processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review policy changes, new business and renewals when received for accuracy,

-Prepare documents and summaries for Account Managers

-Assist Account Managers in keeping their renewals 120 days in advance.

- Document all information in the agency management system

- Collaborate with Account Managers to ensure high-quality service

- Maintain a high level of knowledge about commercial insurance markets, products, and carrier appetites

Qualifications:

- MUST have Minimum 2 years of insurance experience

- PREFERRED current Active New York State Property & Casualty license (P&C license required)

- Strong working knowledge of insurance coverages including GL, Property, Business Auto, Umbrella, WC, Disability/Paid Family Leave, Bonds, Property, Inland Marine, Pollution Liability and Cyber Liability

- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Microsoft Teams

- Excellent organizational and time management skills

- Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent organization skills

Pay: $50,000.00 - $63,000.00 per year
