Commercial Maintenance Technician (Troy New York)

Position Title: Commercial Maintenance Technician

Job Description:

Completes preventative maintenance and repairs per work order requirements. Self performs the following duties in compliance with company procedures, regulatory requirements and safety standards. 

· Performs minor plumbing maintenance on existing systems such as but not limited to: repair and unclog toilets, urinals, replace and maintain valve assemblies, toilets and faucet fixtures as and repair/maintain sensors for automatic flush kits, etc. 

· Performs routine painting, carpentry work, general maintenance, etc., as necessary to maintain our supported facilities in like new condition (e.g. repair a hole in dry wall, prep the area, and match the paint to present a uniform and original like new appearance). 

· Repairs and routine maintenance of walls, floors, doors and any painting and touch up work as necessary for the beautification of our customers’ facilities in like new condition (e.g. repair a hole in dry wall, prep the area, and match the paint to present a uniform and original like new appearance). 

· Performs minor electrical maintenance as allowed without a license within state law requirements (e.g. repair or replacement of fixtures, wall switches, and outlets. Replace light bulbs, ballasts and sockets if necessary). Completes service inspections and asset inspections as needed.


Qualifications:

Education HS diploma or Degree/Certification, or equivalent professional experience in Landscaping, Trades (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, etc.), or Specialty Floor Care, preferred.
