Hiring – Commercial Manager
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Project Type: High-Value Construction Projects

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Manager to handle and lead our contracts and commercial activities in Dubai. This senior role is responsible for protecting the company’s commercial interests, managing contracts and claims, handling disputes, and supporting management with commercial and financial decisions on major construction projects.

Requirements

✅ Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Law, or related field
✅ 10+ years of experience in the construction industry
✅ Minimum 5 years in a senior commercial or claims role in UAE / GCC
✅ Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts (Red & Yellow Books)
✅ Good understanding of UAE construction laws
✅ Proven experience in preparing and settling major claims
✅ Experience in EOT, variations, delay, disruption, and final accounts
✅ Strong skills in contracts, cost control, and risk management
✅ Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
✅ Arabic language knowledge is an advantage

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare, submit, and negotiate EOT and cost claims
• Manage full contract administration for main contracts and subcontracts
• Ensure works are handled as per contract conditions and reduce commercial risks
• Handle disputes and claims, coordinating with legal advisors and consultants
• Support management with commercial advice, risk control, and correspondence
• Monitor cash flow, variations, costs, and final accounts
• Protect company profits and improve project margins
• Lead and manage a team of Quantity Surveyors, Contract Administrators, and Claims staff
• Manage major subcontractors with proper contractual protection
