Commercial Planner

Cairo, Egypt

Mobilcom is looking for a highly analytical and commercially minded Commercial Planner to support sales forecasting, trade promotions, pricing coordination, and performance analysis across all sales channels. You’ll play a key role in turning data into decisions — aligning internal teams and helping drive profitable growth across organised retail, independent retail, e-commerce, and corporate sales.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of planning, execution, and analysis and is looking to grow within a fast-paced, high-impact commercial team.


Key Responsibilities


Sales Forecasting & Demand Planning

  • Build and maintain accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales forecasts across all sales channels
  • Analyse trends, seasonality, stock levels, and promotional impacts to refine forecast accuracy
  • Collaborate with Sales, Category Managers, and Procurement to ensure demand is aligned with supply

Promotional & Trade Planning

  • Support the creation of trade calendars and promotional timelines by brand and channel
  • Coordinate the launch of promotions across internal stakeholders and ensure timelines are met
  • Track and report promotion performance, highlighting ROI, volume uplift, and margin impact

Pricing Coordination

  • Maintain pricing trackers by brand and channel
  • Support the pricing analyst with competitor benchmarking and promotion price setting
  • Help ensure pricing structures support both revenue and margin targets

Commercial Reporting & Insights

  • Develop and manage performance dashboards in Looker Studio and Excel
  • Track KPIs including revenue vs. target, sell-in/sell-out, stock health, brand performance, and trade execution
  • Deliver clear, actionable insights to commercial and sales teams


Cross-functional Coordination

  • Act as a key link between Sales, Category, Marketing, and Finance to keep plans aligned
  • Support S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) processes and regular forecasting reviews
  • Ensure all plans are shared and executed in alignment with commercial timelines


Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience in commercial planning, sales forecasting, trade marketing, or sales operations
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Looker Studio, Excel, and Google Sheets
  • Experience in retail, distribution, or consumer goods (mobile accessories or electronics is a plus)
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple timelines
  • Strong communication and coordination skills across functions
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
