Commercial Procurement Analyst – Pharmaceutical Products

Our client is a rapidly growing pharmaceutical distribution company operating across Türkiye(Istanbul & Ankara) , Switzerland , and the United Arab Emirates . With a product portfolio of over 6,000 pharmaceutical and medical items , the company delivers high-quality products to hospitals, pharmacies, and healthcare institutions worldwide.

We are looking for a Commercial Procurement Analyst to join our purchasing department. This role will act as a key link between the sales and procurement teams , ensuring that customer orders are accurately analyzed, priced, and processed in line with company policies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of pharmaceutical products , excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage data-driven purchasing and pricing operations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze sales team orders to prepare accurate costing and pricing proposals .
• Collaborate with the sales and procurement departments to ensure product availability, delivery timelines, and pricing alignment.
• Conduct market and supplier research to identify alternative sources and competitive pricing options.
• Prepare detailed product cost analyses , purchase forecasts, and profitability reports.
• Support the procurement team in supplier negotiations by providing relevant data and insights.
• Maintain and update product, pricing, and supplier information within ERP systems.
• Monitor trends in product availability, lead times, and cost changes to inform decision-making.
• Assist in the preparation of weekly and monthly purchasing performance reports .

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics , or a related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in pharmaceutical procurement, pricing, or commercial analysis .
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical and medical product categories .
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and reporting skills .
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
• Fluent in English (both written and verbal); Turkish proficiency preferred.
• Strong command of Excel and ERP systems (SAP or equivalent).
• Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
