Commercial Property Manager (Leasing + Management)

<Job Summary>
Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Property Manager specializing in leasing and property management. In this energetic role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of commercial properties, ensuring exceptional tenant satisfaction, effective leasing strategies, and smooth property maintenance. Your proactive approach will drive occupancy rates, optimize revenue, and uphold the highest standards of property excellence. <Duties>

  • Manage all aspects of leasing activities, including marketing available spaces (Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, etc.), conducting property tours, follow up on leads and close new leases.
  • Oversee property management functions such as coordinating maintenance requests, scheduling repairs, and ensuring facilities are well-maintained in compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Maintain strong relationships with current tenants, coordinate maintenance requests and vendors addressing tenant inquiries promptly via phone or in person while managing conflict resolution effectively to foster positive relationships.
  • Ensure property is clean, safe, and professionally presented by conducting regular property inspections to monitor condition, oversee security measures, and coordinate with facilities management teams for ongoing maintenance needs.
  • Track tenant activity, leads, and leasing performance, assist with rent collection and reporting, maintain organized records of leases and communications.

<Skills>

  • Experience in property management, leasing, or real estate (preferred but not required)
  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Sales-minded with a drive to fill vacancies
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable using online platforms (Craigslist, Facebook, email, etc.)
