RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
Direct Sales & Revenue Generation
- Proactively prospect, cold-call, and acquire new retail tenants and businesses for available commercial spaces and kiosks.
- Identify and pitch advertising space (e.g., outdoor, digital, sponsorship packages) to new brand partners and marketing/media agencies.
- Lead all commercial negotiations, prepare detailed proposals, and close high-value contracts to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Manage a robust sales pipeline, thoroughly tracking all stages from initial communication to the final contract execution.
Sales Analysis & Development
- Prepare accurate and timely sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis for management.
- Utilize market research, traffic data, and customer demographics to build compelling, data-backed business cases for prospects.
- Continuously analyze the market, build a robust professional network, and proactively approach potential tenants and advertisers to generate new business opportunities and build a sustainable sales pipeline.
- Work closely with the commercial manager, and collaborate with the commercial assistants, Legal, and other concerned departments to ensure the smooth launching and execution of the new contracts.
Safety Responsibilities:
- Promote a positive safety culture within the workplace and attend any safety-related meetings or briefings as required within the job role.
- Comply with the requirements of RDMC RQHSE Policy and Safety Management System.
- Be mindful that Safety, Security, and Environmental protection are everyone’s responsibility. All staff members are accountable for reporting and intervening in any Safety, Security, or Environmental violations.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Excellent command in Arabic and English
KNOWLEDGE:
- In-depth Knowledge of the End-to-End Sales Cycle and Techniques.
- Practical knowledge of key contractual elements, terms and conditions related to sales, leases, and advertising agreements
- Proven ability to lead complex, high-value commercial negotiations to a profitable conclusion.
- Understanding various advertising mediums (outdoor, digital, sponsorship packages),
- Knowledge of media planning/buying processes, and familiarity with marketing agencies and brand advertising strategies.
- Knowledge of the commercial property market, typical retail lease structures (terms, conditions, common area maintenance), and the process of placing tenants in commercial spaces (retail units and kiosks).
EXPERIENCE:
- 3-5 years of proven experience in B2B or B2C direct sales.
- Experience in retail leasing, commercial sales, advertising or media sales is highly preferred.
- Possessing an existing network of relevant industry contacts (e.g., media agencies, brand marketing managers, retail brokers) is a great advantage.
