A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Commercial Sales Manager at Siemens Energy, you will engage with a dynamic team of sales and execution professionals and cross-functional partners to drive impactful projects across the South and East Europe. You will be at the forefront of negotiating and optimizing the financial and commercial outcomes of our contracts. Your day will be filled with crafting compelling offers, presenting to management, and collaborating with customers to drive the industry forward. Your work will not only contribute to our mission of sustainability but also position you as a key player in the energy transition.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Co-create and implement commercial offer strategies tailored to regional market conditions.
• Lead all financial and commercial activities throughout the bid process, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
• Analyze and negotiate commercial terms and conditions with customers, aligning with internal guidelines.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop winning strategies and prepare an accurate sales forecast.
• Provide insights into contractually comparable projects to enhance decision-making and strategy.
• Facilitate smooth handovers to Project Management post-contract closure, ensuring project success.
• Collaborate with Project and Service Teams both locally and at regional level to align project strategy with business goals
• Manage and lead the end-to-end claim management process – identify potential claims early, prepare documentation, support negotiations and ensure resolution in line with contract terms
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations

What You Bring

• University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or related fields
• 6-8 years of experience in contract and commercial sales, with advanced knowledge of contract law.
• Fluency in English (German is an asset)
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of business models and financial accounting principles (IFRS)
• Willingness to travel
