The Senior Commercial Manager leads the full commercial cycle across Sales, Business Development, Key Account Management, Estimation, Proposal Management, Contracting, Pricing, and Customer Relations.
The role ensures profitable growth, accurate forecasting, commercial governance, competitive positioning, and seamless alignment with Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Finance.
The position owns the commercial strategy for ARIA, ensuring that all opportunities are accurately qualified, priced, risk-assessed, and delivered in line with ARIA’s technical and operational capabilities.
- Develop and implement commercial strategies across Egypt and KSA.
- Identify and capitalize on market opportunities across manufacturing, oil & gas, energy, utilities, heavy industries, metals, logistics, and government entities.
- Drive business development initiatives to expand product and solution adoption across the region.
- Lead and oversee long-cycle industrial sales processes including technical and commercial proposals, tendering, estimation, costing, and bid management.
- Define sales targets, KPIs, and forecasting mechanisms to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Manage key accounts, EPCs, distributors, and strategic industrial clients.
- Develop pricing strategies to maximize profitability and competitiveness.
- Strengthen capabilities in technical sales, negotiation, contract management, and market analysis.
- Review budgets, performance reports, and revenue forecast.
- Build and maintain partnerships with global technology vendors, distributors, system integrators, and channel partners.
- Strengthen collaboration with government authorities, industrial zones, and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure channel alignment and partner enablement to drive regional market growth.
- Lead high-value contract negotiations ensuring sound commercial terms and risk mitigation.
- Ensure full compliance with tender laws, regulations, and trade policies in Egypt and KSA.
- Oversee contract life cycles, including submission, execution, invoicing, and closure.
- Lead, mentor, and coach commercial teams to elevate performance and capabilities.
- Foster strong collaboration with finance, operations, and other functions across the company.
- Drive a high-performance culture focused on accountability, customer satisfaction, and business outcomes.
- Guide teams through decision-making, problem-solving, and execution of strategic initiatives.
Solid understanding of industrial automation, robotics, and motion control.
Experience with smart vision and machine inspection systems.
Knowledge of ICP, OEE, predictive maintenance, and energy optimization.
Strong background in tendering, bid management, costing, and commercial engineering.
Familiarity with EPC contracts, commercial terms, and risk assessment.
Skilled in pricing, market analysis, channel management, and key account management.
Proficient in CRM and sales tools (Salesforce, HubSpot).
Strong financial and analytical skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
