Commercial Senior Specialist

We are seeking a Commercial Senior Specialist to support the commercial and financial aspects of development projects. The role focuses on contract management, cost control, procurement support, financial analysis, and commercial risk management to ensure optimized project value and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development of commercial strategies, cost models, and feasibility assessments.
• Prepare, review, and validate contracts, proposals, BOQs, and commercial submissions for accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct market price benchmarking and support commercial negotiations.
• Track project budgets, commitments, variations, and overall financial exposure.
• Support procurement activities, including tender evaluations and vendor selection.
• Prepare commercial and financial reports for management and key stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Finance and Legal teams to ensure contractual, payment, and compliance alignment.
• Identify commercial risks and propose mitigation measures.
• Interpret technical documents such as drawings, BOQs, and specifications.
• Maintain high ethical standards and perform effectively under pressure.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience, with at least 5 years in a relevant commercial role (development, construction, or real estate preferred).
• Professional certifications such as PMP, CCP, FIDIC training, or MRICS are an advantage.

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Strong commercial and contractual acumen.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder communication skills.
• Solid understanding of procurement processes and tender management.
• Strong analytical and financial skills with high attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with feasibility studies, financial modeling, and commercial negotiations.
• Working knowledge of Saudi Building Code and local market practices.
• Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
