Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Tradesmen to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and a passion for building and restoration. The position requires travel to keep up with roll outs and remodel programs for our clients. This role involves working on diverse projects, including commercial, restaurant and industrial office construction, where precision and quality craftsmanship are paramount. Finish carpentry and woodworking is a priority for our current programs. Candidates with multiple trade skills are always encouraged to apply.

Duties

  • Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures for the interior and exterior of buildings.
  • Perform frame carpentry, including the construction of walls, roofs, and flooring systems.
  • Execute trim carpentry tasks to enhance the aesthetic appeal of spaces.
  • Repair and replace hardware as needed including hinges, closers, handles, and locksets
  • Set and install doors, frames and trim
  • Lay tiles with precision and ensure proper caulking for water resistance.
  • Fabricate custom pieces as per project specifications.
  • Engage in construction painting to finish surfaces effectively.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Journeyman are required to carry their own power tools.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Carpenter in the construction or restoration industry is preferred.
  • High level of proficiency in wood working, finish carpentry, and patch work.
  • Familiarity with various carpentry techniques, including tile laying, caulking, door installations, and metal stud framing.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings is advantageous.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $72,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
