Commercial Manager

This role is a critical leadership role responsible for spearheading the development and execution of the business unit strategy & strategic commercial initiatives that drive profitability and achieve organizational goals for Nawy. This senior position demands extensive experience in strategic planning, data-driven decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration.

The role requires a visionary leader who can align operational processes, enhance commercial tools and

procedures, and drive significant business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Development of Commercial Plans:

  • Lead the creation and execution of comprehensive commercial plans that align with company profit and loss (P&L) objectives.
  • Develop long-term strategic goals and actionable plans to achieve these objectives.
  • Drive the development and execution of strategic initiatives to support business growth.
  • Ensure plans are innovative, strategically sound, and effectively implemented.

2. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure the seamless execution of strategic initiatives.
  • Facilitate teamwork and effective communication across the organization.
  • Serve as a liaison between departments to harmonize objectives and ensure alignment with overall business strategy.

3. Performance Tracking and Analysis:

  • Regularly monitor, analyze, and report on performance metrics against predefined targets.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Use data-driven insights to continuously refine and optimize business strategies.
  • Foster a data-driven culture within the team and organization.

4. Operational Process Enhancement:

  • Work closely with the operations to improve work processes and enhance funnel efficiency.
  • Implement best practices to optimize KPI performance and conversion rates.
  • Develop and refine strategies to align with evolving market conditions.

5. Product Process Enhancement:

  • Collaborate with the product team to improve product efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure product enhancements align with commercial objectives and customer needs.
  • Drive innovation in product offerings to maintain a competitive edge.

6. Demand Generation Strategy:

  • Develop and implement a robust lead acquisition strategy.
  • Collaborate with performance marketing, sales, and other relevant departments.
  • Optimize lead generation channels and processes to maximize quality lead flow.

7. Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence:

  • Continuously assess market needs, trends, and competition.
  • Identify and align new business opportunities with organizational goals.
  • Develop strategies to maintain a competitive advantage in the market.

8. Team Leadership and Development:

  • Build and lead a high-performing commercial strategy team.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to team members.
  • Foster a collaborative, results-driven, and innovative team culture.

9. Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage the budget for the commercial strategy department.
  • Ensure financial targets are met and aligned with overall company goals.
  • Implement financial controls and risk management strategies to protect and grow profitability.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, engineering, or a related field
  • 6-8 years of experience in previous commercial roles.
  • Proven experience in a management role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills.
  • Financial acumen and experience in budget management.
