If your experience is limited to light-duty automotive, oil changes, or basic bolt-on work, this is not the right fit.
We are looking for hardworking, skilled, efficient technicians who can keep up in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. If you are not confident in your abilities or need constant direction, please do not apply.
About the Role
We repair and fabricate commercial trailers for major fleets (food distribution, beverage, logistics, etc.). This is hands-on, physical work every day.
You will be expected to diagnose, repair, fabricate, and complete jobs efficiently without excuses.
Responsibilities
- Heavy-duty commercial trailer repair (NOT automotive)
- Welding & fabrication (steel & aluminum)
- Roll-up & swing door repair
- Roof, panel, and structural repairs
- Liftgate repair (mechanical/hydraulic)
- Electrical & lighting diagnostics (shorts, wiring issues, etc.)
- PMs, BIT & DOT inspections
- Brake & suspension work
Work Environment
- Fast-paced, high-output shop
- Physical labor required daily (lifting, climbing, moving)
- Hands-on ownership. To fit in here you will need a strong work ethic, positive attitude, efficiency and drive to continuously grow
If you are used to slow shops or cutting corners, you will not last here.
Minimum Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
- Confident welding steel (Steel AND Aluminum is ideal)
- Experience in commercial trailers, heavy equipment, ag equipment, or fabrication
- Ability to perform brakes, suspension, and inspections without supervision
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and accountability
- Ability to work efficiently and stay productive throughout the day
Experience Levels & Pay Structure
Many of our current employees have been with us for years and have advanced their careers with us. We LOVE to teach our employees and promote from within. We hire based on ability, not titles:
$22–$26/hr (Entry-Level Qualified)
- Meets minimum requirements
- Can complete basic repairs with some guidance
- Still developing speed and efficiency
$26–$32/hr (Mid-Level Technician)
- Works independently on most jobs
- Solid welding, mechanical, and diagnostic skills
- Consistent productivity
$32+/hr (Highly Skilled / Top Performer)
- Fast, efficient, and highly reliable
- Strong fabrication + diagnostic ability
- Requires little to no supervision
- Produces high-quality work consistently
The more skilled and efficient you are, the more you earn — simple as that.
Preferred (Not Required)
- Advanced fabrication/bodywork (panels, roofs, doors)
- Liftgate hydraulic troubleshooting
- Strong electrical diagnostic experience
Schedule
Monday–Friday
8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
No nights or weekends
