Michigan Bark Products, Inc. is seeking a CDL Class A Driver to join our team and take charge of delivering freight efficiently and safely across diverse routes in Michigan. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate a variety of trucks, including driving multi-axle trailers (7 or 8 axle). As a key player in our logistics operations, you will ensure timely load and unload processes while maintaining the highest safety standards. Duties

• Safely operate various types of trucks including driving multi-axle trailers (7 or 8 axle), across designated routes
• Load and unload cargo efficiently using appropriate equipment like forklifts when necessary
• Follow planned routes diligently while managing delivery schedules to meet deadlines
• Secure freight properly during transit to prevent damage or loss during transportation
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues promptly

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Truck Driver (CDL-A) license
• Proven 1 year experience required in truck driving
• Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles
• Ability to load & unload freight safely using equipment like forklift (if needed)
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards for commercial driving
• Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with route planning for efficient deliveries
