Job Summary: We are looking for a motivated and skilled Commis I to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will support the Chef de Partie in food preparation and ensure a clean, organized kitchen. This role requires a passion for cooking, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist and take instructions from the Chef de Partie.
• Gather and accurately measure all meal ingredients.
• Wash, peel, and chop vegetables and fruits.
• Cut and season various meats.
• Prepare basic dishes such as salads and sauces.
• Keep track of inventory supplies.
• Ensure food items are stocked properly in refrigerators and freezers.
• Maintain hygiene standards and keep the workstation clean at all times.
• Plate various meal items.
• Accept deliveries of food items and maintain stock records.
• Dispose of spoiled food items and expired products.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of restaurant experience in the GCC.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in English and Arabic.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
