Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of food items in a specific section for cake assembling / production section.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented according to recipes, quality standards, and hygiene regulations
- Work efficiently under the guidance of senior chefs to learn and improve skills
- Ensure proper storage and labeling of food items
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, kitchen equipment, and utensils
- Follow food safety guidelines and sanitation procedures at all times
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Assist with inventory control, stock rotation, and minimizing food waste
- Participate in training and development opportunities as directed by the kitchen management
Qualifications & Skills:
- 1–2 years of experience in a professional kitchen
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with good communication and time management skills
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Strong attention to detail and hygiene standards
