Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and hardworking Commis III to join our kitchen team. The Commis III will assist senior chefs in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food items according to Dieture’s quality standards. This position is ideal for individuals looking to develop their culinary skills in a professional and health-focused kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and basic cooking of food items under the supervision of senior chefs.
  • Follow standard recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen at all times.
  • Wash, peel, cut, and prepare ingredients as directed.
  • Ensure all food items are stored properly and labelled with correct dates.
  • Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards (HACCP compliance).
  • Support with receiving, checking, and storing kitchen supplies.
  • Operate basic kitchen equipment safely and report any maintenance issues.
  • Maintain a clean workstation, utensils, and equipment.
  • Assist in minimizing food wastage through proper portioning and handling.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Executive Chef

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a similar position (hotel, catering, or food production environment preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen operations, food handling, and preparation methods.
  • Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices.
  • Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts and weekends if required.
  • Candidates under Limousine visa will not be considered.
