About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Commis 1 to join our award-winning culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes, ensuring consistency, creativity, and excellence in every plate served. Responsibilities:

• Support the Chef de Partie in preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes to the highest standards.
• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth service during busy operations.
• Continuously develop culinary skills and product knowledge through training and practice.
• Follow recipes and plating guides to maintain consistency across all sections.
• Organize and set up assigned workstations, ensuring all ingredients and equipment are ready for service.
• Ensure adherence to hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards (HACCP compliance).
• Assist in receiving and checking food deliveries for quality and quantity accuracy.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Maximum of 1–3 years of culinary experience in a luxury hotel or fine dining environment.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse culinary team.
• Strong knowledge of international cuisines and modern cooking techniques.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Culinary degree or professional certification preferred.
