Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing ingredients for cooking (e.g. chopping vegetables, cutting meat, preparing sauces).
  • Follow instructions from senior chefs and help in cooking/preparing menu items.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
  • Ensure food items are properly stored and labelled.
  • Comply with all food hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
  • Assist in receiving and storing kitchen supplies and deliveries.
  • Support the kitchen team in daily operations and service.
  • Learn and develop skills in various sections of the kitchen.

Requirements:

  • Previous kitchen experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Passion for food and willingness to learn.
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and food preparation techniques.
  • Good time management and ability to work under pressure.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Culinary school diploma or certificate (preferred but not required).
  • Basic food hygiene or safety certification is an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to AED1,400.00 per month
