Job Summary:
The Commis will assist in the preparation and production of various menu items, ensuring consistency, quality, and hygiene standards are maintained. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic culinary professional looking to gain experience in a dynamic kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of ingredients and basic dishes under the supervision of senior chefs.
  • Follow recipes and presentation standards to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and rotation of ingredients and products.
  • Assist with plating, garnishing, and presentation of desserts and pastries.
  • Comply with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.
  • Support the kitchen team in daily operations and during high-volume periods.
  • Participate in receiving deliveries and checking stock for quality and freshness.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or bakery is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of basic culinary techniques and pastry preparation is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
  • Passion for sweets, desserts, and culinary excellence.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR2,600.00 per month
