We are hiring for highly skilled Commis Chef 2 to join our high-end restaurant at Alfardan Hospitality.
- Responsible in producing quality product in a timely and efficient manner for the guests or staff.
- Prepare all menu items by strictly following recipes and yield guide.
- Monitor periodically expiry dates and proper storage of food items in the section
- Personally responsible for hygiene, safety and correct use of equipment and utensils. Sanitation at the assigned work area
- Assess quality control and adhere to operation service standards
- Adhere to the restaurant’s policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of all standard procedures and policies per training to food preparation, receiving, storage and sanitation.
- Full awareness of all menu items, their recipes, methods of production and presentation standards.
- Follows good preservation standards for the proper handling of all food products at the right temperature.
- Carry out any other duties as required by management.
- Operate and maintain all department equipment and reporting of malfunctioning.
- Establishing and maintaining effective inter-departmental working relationships.
- Responsible for the operation of his designated section.
- Assisting the Chef de Partie & Reporting to any assigned task.
