We Are Hiring: Commis Chef
Location: Nusr-Et Steakhouse – Doha

Nusret Gökçe, globally known as #SaltBae, is looking for a passionate and dedicated Commis Chef to join the team in Doha. If you're ready to take the next step in your culinary journey, we’d love to hear from you.

What You Will Achieve

As a Commis Chef, you will support the kitchen team in delivering an exceptional dining experience by:

  • Following recipes and portion standards accurately
  • Assisting in food preparation and basic cooking tasks
  • Organizing and setting up workstations for meal service
  • Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in all food prep areas
  • Storing all ingredients properly and labeling them correctly
  • Requisitioning supplies and ingredients as needed
  • Adhering to all food safety and hygiene standards
  • Supporting senior chefs in daily kitchen operations
  • Upholding the high standards of quality that define the Nusr-Et brand

Who You Are

  • You have 2–3 years of experience in the F&B or hospitality industry in a similar role
  • You are currently residing in Doha, Qatar
  • You have a solid understanding of kitchen operations and food safety standards
  • You’re detail-oriented and have a strong work ethic
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • You’re a team player, respectful, and professional in all interactions
  • You’re passionate about food and committed to delivering the best to your guests
