Job Purpose:
To assist in the preparation, cooking, serving, and maintenance of food items at the food truck, ensuring high-quality standards, hygiene, and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and cooking menu items (snacks, beverages, fast food, etc.) as per standard recipes and quality guidelines.
- Support in food plating, wrapping, and packaging for take-away orders.
- Handle grill, fryer, and other kitchen equipment safely and hygienically.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the food truck, kitchen tools, and work area at all times.
- Ensure proper storage and labeling of food ingredients and raw materials.
- Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) method for food stock rotation.
- Assist in inventory control and report low stock items to the supervisor.
- Handle customer orders, billing, and service when required.
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards and local health regulations.
- Support the team in daily opening and closing duties of the food truck.
