At Dubai International Hotel, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional culinary experiences with a focus on quality and innovation. Our pastry kitchen is renowned for its creative and exquisite desserts, and we are seeking a passionate and dedicated Commis I to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of a wide range of pastries, desserts, and baked goods.
  • Follow recipes and instructions to ensure consistency and quality in all pastry products.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all health and safety standards.
  • Support the Pastry Chef in inventory management, including ordering and storing ingredients.
  • Participate in the development of new pastry recipes and ideas.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate execution of orders during service hours.

Qualifications:

  • Culinary diploma or relevant qualification in pastry arts is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a pastry kitchen, preferably in a similar role, is a plus.
  • Strong passion for pastry and dessert-making with a desire to learn and develop skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
