Job Description

GoldenTrust Insurance is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Commission Analyst to support our Property & Casualty (P&C) and Health divisions. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and well-documented commission processing, reconciliation, and coordination with internal departments.

Key Responsibilities

Data Entry & Documentation

  • Download and organize carrier commission statements and distributions
  • Accurately enter and reconcile:
  • P&C commissions in GoldenPay
  • Health commissions in AgencyBloc
  • Record deposits promptly as they appear in bank accounts

Reconciliation & Discrepancy Management

  • Verify commission data against bank deposits, statements, and reports
  • Identify discrepancies, missing items, or errors
  • Maintain detailed Excel reports outlining discrepancies
  • Collaborate with carriers, franchisees, and internal teams to resolve issues

QuickBooks Processing

  • Create bills for franchise commission payments
  • Generate invoices for unearned commissions in accordance with internal procedures

Accounts Payable Coordination

  • Ensure all required documentation is complete prior to payments, including:
  • Exhibit B forms
  • Updated franchise banking information
  • W-9 forms
  • Maintain organized digital records and monthly folders for all supporting documents

Monitoring & Communication

  • Track deposits that are missing commission statements and notify Accounting
  • Support closing processes, including documentation for negative balances
  • Maintain clear, professional communication across all departments

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in accounting support, commissions processing, or financial operations
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data tracking, reconciliation, reporting)
  • Experience with QuickBooks (preferred)
  • Familiarity with CRM or commission systems such as AgencyBloc or similar platforms (preferred)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

  • QuickBooks (billing and invoicing only)
  • AgencyBloc (Health commissions)
  • GoldenPay (P&C commissions)
  • Microsoft Excel
