Job Title: Commission-Based Business Development Manager / Digital Marketing Specialist

Compensation: 20% commission on gross project value (one-time or recurring revenue) – No base salary

We’re looking for a self-driven, results-oriented Business Development Manager who thrives on commission and has a proven track record of closing deals in the digital services space.

The Opportunity

This is a 100% performance-based role with unlimited earning potential. You’ll act as the primary point of contact for clients from prospecting and pitching to onboarding and ongoing relationship management. Your success directly translates to your income: you earn 20% of every dollar from projects or retainers you bring in, whether it’s a one-time website build or a $5k/month digital marketing retainer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect & Close: Identify, pitch, and close new clients needing web design, development, IT support, app development, hosting, or digital marketing services.
  • Full Client Ownership: Manage the entire sales cycle from initial outreach to contract signing and serve as the main client contact post-sale.
  • Digital Marketing Expertise: Position and sell our full suite of digital marketing services (SEO, PPC, SMM, analytics, strategy) as core solutions, not add-ons.
  • Strategic Consulting: Conduct competitive analyses, audit clients’ online presence, and craft tailored digital marketing strategies to win long-term retainers.
  • Pipeline Management: Track leads, proposals, and conversions in our CRM (tools provided).
  • Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends to identify high-value opportunities in web, app, and digital marketing services.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Proven Sales Track Record: Minimum 3+ years in business development or sales for digital agencies, web development firms, software development firms, AI Application Design and Development, Mobile Apps Development, CRM Design and Development, or IT design, migration, services.
  • Digital Marketing Mastery: Deep, hands-on experience selling and/or executing SEO, PPC, social media marketing, and analytics. You speak the language fluently.
  • Portfolio of Proof: Required: Share 3–5 verifiable case studies or client examples (with revenue impact) from past roles. No proof = no interview.
  • Client-Facing Excellence: Exceptional English communication (written/spoken). You confidently lead discovery calls, handle objections, and negotiate contracts solo.
  • Self-Starter Mindset: No hand-holding. You thrive in a 100% commission environment and manage your time without supervision.
  • Technical Fluency: Understand web development, hosting, SaaS, and IT support enough to discuss solutions credibly with technical and non-technical buyers.

  • You’ve built a book of business for an agency or as a freelancer selling $5k–$50k+ projects.
  • You know how to generate leads and turn a "we need a website" lead into a $2k/month digital marketing retainer.
