Job Summary:

This role is responsible for owning the client relationship, leading program delivery, and expanding Impact Cx’s presence across a client’s data center portfolio. It serves as the primary point of contact for assigned clients and provides senior leadership across all commissioning and related services. Reporting to the Principal – Director of Commissioning, the role includes direct management of Project Managers and Technical Leads supporting the client program and works closely with internal leadership to ensure exceptional client outcomes and long-term partnerships.

This position requires national and international travel in support of client engagement, program execution, and geographic expansion.


General Duties:

Client Relationship Leadership:

  • Serve as the primary owner and point of contact for assigned data center client programs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with client executives, program leaders, and key stakeholders.
  • Lead client communications, including program updates, executive briefings, and issue resolution.
  • Own client escalations and represent Impact Cx in critical or sensitive situations.
  • Advocate for client priorities and ensure alignment across internal teams.


Program & Delivery Leadership:

  • Lead the planning and execution of integrated, multi-project data center commissioning programs.
  • Ensure consistent delivery, quality, and execution standards across all projects within the client program.
  • Provide direct leadership and line management to Project Managers and Technical Leads.
  • Balance schedule, cost, risk, and quality in fast-paced, mission-critical environments.
  • Foster collaboration across internal teams to deliver reliable, high-quality outcomes.


Account Growth & Expansion:

  • Develop and execute a long-term account strategy focused on repeat work and program expansion.
  • Identify and advance opportunities to grow Impact Cx’s footprint within the client organization.
  • Support expansion into new geographic regions, including international locations.
  • Introduce complementary services such as Owner’s Representative and advisory services where appropriate.
  • Partner with leadership and business development teams to convert opportunities into sustained client relationships.


Financial & Performance Accountability:

  • Manage program-level budgets, staffing plans, and forecasts.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and overall program performance.
  • Maintain financial discipline while delivering value and building long-term client trust.
  • Identify risks and implement corrective actions to support successful outcomes.


Governance & Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with Impact Cx standards, governance, and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting across client programs.
  • Provide regular updates on program performance to Impact Cx leadership.
  • Align client programs with Impact Cx’s strategic objectives.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in data center commissioning, mission-critical facilities, MEP construction, or related technical services.
  • Proven experience managing complex, multi-project client programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and grow long-term client relationships.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent).
  • Experience supporting multi-region or global data center programs.
  • Exposure to Owner’s Representation, advisory, or related professional services.
  • Executive presence and sound professional judgment
  • Strategic and client-focused mindset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to translate technical details into clear, executive-level insight.
  • High emotional intelligence and collaborative leadership style
  • Adaptability in dynamic, mission-critical environments.

Travel: 30% (Remote)
