Commissioning Engineer – Electrical, Instrumentation & Telecom

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Instrumentation / Electronics Engineering
• 5–10 years of commissioning experience in Oil & Gas projects.
• Location: ADNOC Offshore Site, UAE

Key Responsibilities

• Execute commissioning activities for:

1. Electrical systems (HV/LV switchgear, transformers, UPS, generators)
2. Instrumentation systems (DCS, PLC, ESD, F&G, field instruments)
3. Telecom systems (PA/GA, CCTV, access control, fiber optic networks)

• Perform loop checks, calibration verification, and functional testing.
• Review P&IDs, SLDs, logic diagrams, and telecom layouts.
• Prepare commissioning reports and documentation.
• Coordinate with construction for mechanical completion clearance.
• Attend FAT, SAT, and site inspections.
• Troubleshoot system issues during pre-commissioning and start-up.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC Offshore HSE standards.
• Support system handover and close-out documentation.

Qualifications

• Offshore project experience preferred.
• ADNOC Offshore experience is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of international standards (IEC, IEEE, NFPA).
• Strong troubleshooting and reporting skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in integrated control systems
• Knowledge of fiber optic testing (OTDR)
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work in offshore rotational assignments
